President of the United States Conference Call
President of the United States
COPAA President, Adnan Khan, and board member Anila Ali, joined the
president of the Unites States on a conference call organized by his group,
Organizing for America.
President Obama, calling in from Air Force One, said that he needs the "invaluable"
help of his group to get the healthcare reform legislation passed this year, or "it
won't get done".
"We've got a lot of things done- but healthcare-that's a big push," the President said.
The President informed the group, that Organizing For America is collecting pledges
from citizens to support these three principles that are the most important pieces of
healthcare reform:

1) Reducing costs associated with healthcare for families and businesses
2) Allowing patients to choose doctors and plans
3) Providing quality, affordable healthcare for all Americans

President Obama urged us to "mobilize our efforts" so that "politicians take notice."

We urge the Pakistani-American community to support his healthcare by:

Signing the declaration:
Healthcare Reform

Writing to your congressmen, letters to your local newspaper editors,
informing neighbors and friends about the healthcare reform legislation
